Temporary Unclassified Position

Outstanding people person with case management and supervisory experience to provide direct oversight of agency’s Disaster Housing Assistance Program (DHAP).  DHAP Supervisor will work closely with Assisted Housing Program Director to provide services to families impacted by recent disasters.

Duties include supervision of case managers, program analysts, housing inspectors, and clerical staff.  Program responsibilities include certifying eligibility of applicants; performing inspections on housing units, contacting landlords; conducting annual reevaluations of tenants' continuing eligibility and rental payments in accordance to state/federal guidelines; compilation of all documentation and reports, including leases and contracts between landlords and tenants.  Sense of urgency to meet deadlines a must.  This unclassified appointment requires no Civil Service Testing/Rating.  This position may expire March 2010 or in accordance to HUD mandates.  Valid LA driver’s license required.  Please forward Civil Service Application (SF10) and resume, including salary history, no later than December 2, 2008 to: DHAP Supervisor – Unclassified Position, c/o HR Department, EBRP Housing Authority, 4731 North Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
