The East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority is composed of the following departments and the agency employs approximately 90 full-time and part-time employees.


Housing Authority Departmental Structure

• Public Housing (Management)
• Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8)
• Housing Opportunities for People Everywhere (HOPE VI)
• Maintenance
• Modernization/Capital fund Program

These departments are charged with the day-to-day operations of the housing programs operated and administered by the housing authority. The Executive Director has been charged with the oversight of the day-to-day operations and the Board of Commissioners set policies which govern the agency.
