Pages of Possibility Reading Camp Returns to Capital Square

Participants receive guidance and encouragement during a literacy activity at the Pages of Possibility Reading Camp.

The youth at Capital Square are spending part of their summer strengthening literacy skills, building confidence, and discovering the joy of learning through the Pages of Possibility Reading Camp.

The five-week camp, led by the Diontrey Claiborne Stop the Violence Organization, returned to Capital Square this summer after a successful visit to the community last year. Through reading, writing, creative activities, and mentorship, participants are engaging in experiences designed to encourage academic growth and lifelong learning.

Throughout the camp, children work together on literacy-focused activities that help improve reading comprehension, strengthen communication skills, and foster creativity.

ACCESS to quality education remains an important part of creating strong communities. Opportunities such as the Pages of Possibility Reading Camp help ensure that young people have ACCESS to engaging learning experiences throughout the summer months.

EBRPHA is grateful to the Diontrey Claiborne Stop the Violence Organization for its continued partnership and commitment to investing in the future of our youth.

As the camp continues over the coming weeks, participants will have additional opportunities to explore literacy, creativity, and personal growth while building skills that will support success both inside and outside the classroom.
