Quick answers to the questions we hear most. Still stuck? Reach out anytime.
For an emergency like no heat, flooding, or a gas leak, call the EBRPHA main office right away. For non-emergencies, submit a work order through the Yardi portal or contact your community manager.
Report any change in income or household size to EBRPHA as soon as it happens. Changes affect your rent calculation, and unreported changes may lead to repayment or other consequences.
You must ask EBRPHA for approval before you add any person to your household. Unauthorized occupants are a lease violation and can put your housing at risk. Submit a household change request through the portal or contact your manager.
Submit a transfer request to EBRPHA in writing. Transfers are based on home availability and program policy. Contact your community manager to start the process.
Missing your recertification deadline can end your housing assistance. If you are having trouble finishing the process on time, contact EBRPHA as early as possible; EBRPHA can often help you avoid a lapse in your housing.
